Client code of Conduct
Last updated: January 26, 2026
Ethical Intelligence. Transparent AI. Responsible Governance.
At PredictEdge, we believe trust is not a by-product of technology — it’s a design requirement.
Our platforms provide engagement intelligence and analytical insights to support informed decision-making. They do not make decisions, replace human judgment, or act autonomously.
This Code of Conduct outlines how PredictEdge platforms are expected to be used — with transparency, ethical AI practices, and clear accountability and clarifies the distinct responsibilities of PredictEdge and its clients.
Transparency, ethical AI & Accountability
Transparency is foundational to ethical intelligence. Clients are responsible for how they use PredictEdge tools, insights, and outputs.
Clients agree to use PredictEdge platforms, including any features that may support automated or semi-automated insights, messaging, or actions, in ways that are:
Transparent, with the ability to clearly explain how insights are generated, interpreted, and applied, including when automation is used
Ethically grounded, ensuring AI-enabled insights and automated capabilities are used to inform and execute client-defined strategies and do not obscure judgment or shift accountability
Lawful and compliant, aligned with applicable Canadian privacy, data protection, and communications laws, including consent and unsubscribe requirements where relevant
Human-directed and accountable, with clients defining rules, approving use cases, and retaining full responsibility for all automated and non-automated decisions, actions, and outcomes
Explainable and defensible, such that automated or assisted actions informed by PredictEdge insights can be understood, justified, reviewed, and overridden
Performance optimization must never come at the expense of legitimacy, consent, or public trust. While PredictEdge may offer tools that support automation based on client-defined parameters, clients remain solely responsible for setting objectives, selecting audiences, approving content, and managing outcomes.
Data Responsibility & Privacy
Clients retain full responsibility for the data they provide, process, or act upon.
Clients agree that any data used with PredictEdge platforms is:
Collected lawfully, with appropriate consent or legal authority
Used proportionately and for clearly defined purposes
Managed securely, in line with Canadian privacy expectations and best practices
Clients are solely responsible for compliance with applicable laws and frameworks, including PIPEDA, CASL, and any emerging requirements under Canada’s evolving AI and data governance landscape.
PredictEdge does not verify the legality, accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of client-provided data.
Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
Ethical AI requires attention to impact — not just intent.
PredictEdge platforms surface patterns and insights; they do not determine value, eligibility, or outcomes for individuals or groups.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the use of PredictEdge platforms:
Does not reinforce bias, discrimination, or exclusion
Accounts for historical, systemic, and contextual factors
Includes appropriate human review where insights may materially affect people or communities
All downstream decisions and impacts remain the responsibility of the client.
Responsible Engagement & Communications
PredictEdge insights are designed to support responsible engagement — not manipulation, polarization, or misinformation.
Clients must ensure that communications or actions informed by PredictEdge outputs are:
Truthful, proportionate, and context-aware
Respectful of audience autonomy and consent
Aligned with public expectations of fairness and transparency
Governance, Oversight & Accountability
Use of PredictEdge platforms does not transfer responsibility, accountability, or liability.
Clients are expected to maintain appropriate internal governance, including:
Clear ownership of decisions informed by PredictEdge insights
Processes for review, escalation, and correction
The ability to pause, override, or discontinue use where ethical, legal, or reputational risks arise
Clients remain fully accountable for all decisions, actions, and consequences arising from use of the platform.
Prohibited Uses
Clients may not use PredictEdge platforms to support or enable:
Harassment, intimidation, or harm
Discrimination or exclusion based on protected characteristics
Unlawful surveillance or violations of privacy or civil liberties
Activities that undermine democratic processes, institutional integrity, or public trust
Monitoring & Platform Integrity
PredictEdge may review platform usage to ensure alignment with this Code of Conduct and to protect platform integrity.
Where concerns arise, PredictEdge may request clarification, recommend corrective action, or suspend access. PredictEdge is not responsible for identifying or preventing client misuse, nor for harms arising from client actions.
A Shared Responsibility
Ethical intelligence is a shared commitment.
PredictEdge builds tools designed for transparency, compliance, and human agency. Our clients apply those tools with judgment, care, and respect for the people and communities impacted by their decisions.
Ethical intelligence works only when transparency is real and responsibility is clear — and it always rests with the humans using the system.
